Royal Mail (via Intersoft) Integration with Helm
Use Intersoft’s technology to connect Royal Mail services with Helm WMS - enabling automated label generation, shipment tracking and collection management for your Royal Mail orders

Who Are Intersoft?
Intersoft is a trusted delivery management platform and an approved technology partner of Royal Mail
They offer API-based access to Royal Mail services - ideal for retailers, 3PLs, and eCommerce businesses looking to integrate Royal Mail directly into their warehouse and order workflows

Step 1: Get Your Intersoft Credentials
Before installing Royal Mail (via Intersoft) in Helm, ensure you have the following credentials from Intersoft
You will need:
User ID
Password
Account Code
🔎 These details are supplied by Intersoft during onboarding
If you don’t have them, contact your Intersoft account manager or support contact

Step 2: Install Royal Mail (via Intersoft) in Helm
To begin:
Open the Settings menu in the bottom-left corner of Helm
Use the search bar to type Couriers
Select the Couriers tab from the results

Step 3: Select and Configure Royal Mail (via Intersoft)
Click Install Courier in the bottom-right corner
Search for and select Royal Mail (Intersoft) from the list
Click Continue to begin configuration
Enter the following details:
Field | What to Enter |
Courier Identifier | Internal name (e.g. “Royal Mail Tracked 24” or “RM Letters”) |
Account Type | Choose Live for production or Test for trial setup |
Collection Time | Enter your agreed pickup time with Royal Mail |
User ID | Provided by Intersoft |
Password | Provided by Intersoft |
Account Code | Provided by Intersoft |

Once done, click Save to activate the integration

All Set!
Royal Mail (via Intersoft) is now integrated with Helm WMS
You can start printing labels, dispatching orders and managing collections with Royal Mail directly through Helm
