Step-by-Step Setup
To connect Next to Helm
Request API Credentials
Contact Next Marketplace to obtain your API URL and API KeyLog in to Helm
Navigate to Settings → My StoreAdd New Sales Channel
Click Add New Sales Channel and select Next from the available optionsEnter Required Details

Sales Channel Name | e.g. Next UK |
Sales Channel Logo | Upload the Next logo or your own brand icon |
API URL | Paste the full API endpoint URL provided by Next Marketplace |
API Key | Enter the API key issued by Next Marketplace |
Click Continue

Interaction Settings
Configure how Helm interacts with your Next Marketplace

Sync Inventory | Automatically import products from Next into Helm |
Sync Stock Levels | Keep stock quantities up to date between Helm and Next |
Use Channel Names | Display product names from Next on order records |
Max Stock Levels | Limit maximum stock levels sent to Next |
Stock Buffer | Reserve stock quantity to reduce overselling risk |
Auto Merge Orders | Automatically merge orders from the same customer or address |
Order Importing Type | Choose the start date and time for importing new orders |

Final Steps
Click Save once all settings are configured
Set the channel to Is Active at the top of the screen
Your Next integration is now live - and you’re ready to Take the Helm

Common Issues
ISSUE | SOLUTION |
Invalid API URL | Ensure the API URL is complete including https and version path |
Invalid API Key | Verify the key matches what Next issued exactly |
Orders Not Importing | Confirm the channel is active and the correct order statuses are selected |
Stock Not Syncing | Make sure stock sync is enabled and SKUs are matched |
