Bird System Courier Integration with Helm
Integrate Bird System with your Helm WMS to enable smooth dispatching, automated label generation, tracking, and courier scheduling within your warehouse workflow

Who Are Bird System?
Bird System is a specialist logistics and parcel delivery provider offering efficient and customisable fulfilment solutions
Known for agile service and supporting high-volume eCommerce operations, Bird System integrates directly with Helm to help streamline your outbound logistics

Step 1: Gather Your Bird System Credentials
Before setting up Bird System in Helm, make sure you have the following credentials ready:
Company ID
API Key
URL
🔎 These details are typically supplied when your account is activated
If you don't have them, contact your Bird System account manager or support team

Step 2: Install Bird System in Helm
To begin installation:
Open the Settings menu in the bottom-left corner of Helm
Use the search bar to type “Couriers”
Click on the Couriers tab in the results
Select Install Courier in the bottom-right corner

Step 3: Configure Bird System Courier Settings
Once installation starts:
Search for and select Bird System from the courier list
Click Continue to proceed to the configuration screen
Enter the required details:
Fill in the Required Details:
Field | What to Enter |
Courier Identifier | An internal name (e.g. “Bird UK” or “Bird Express”) |
Account Type | Choose Live for production or Test for trial use |
Collection Time | Set your regular collection schedule (e.g. Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM) |
Company ID | Provided by Bird System |
API Key | Provided by Bird System |
URL | Provided by Bird System |
💡 Tip: The Notes section (if shown) is for internal comments - only visible to you
Once done, click Save to activate the integration

All Set!
Bird System is now fully integrated into your Helm WMS
You can start dispatching orders, printing labels, and scheduling courier collections directly within the platform
