GLS Netherlands Integration with Helm

Who Are GLS Netherlands?
GLS Netherlands is a leading parcel delivery service providing reliable and flexible shipping solutions throughout the Netherlands and across Europe
Part of the international GLS network, they offer a range of domestic and cross-border services with comprehensive tracking and timely deliveries

Step 1: Get Your GLS Netherlands Credentials
Before installing GLS Netherlands in Helm, ensure you have the following credentials
You will need:
Username
Password
API Key
🔎 These credentials are provided by GLS Netherlands during account setup
Contact your GLS account manager if you need assistance retrieving them

Step 2: Install GLS Netherlands in Helm
To begin:
Open the Settings menu in the bottom-left corner of Helm
Type “Couriers“ into the search bar
Select the Couriers tab from the results

Step 3: Select and Configure GLS Netherlands
Click Install Courier in the bottom-right corner
Search for and select GLS Netherlands from the list
Click Continue to begin configuration
Enter the following details:
Field | What to Enter |
Courier Identifier | Internal name (e.g. “GLS Netherlands Domestic” or “GLS NL Express”) |
Account Type | Choose Live for production or Test for trial setup |
Collection Time | Enter your scheduled pickup time as agreed with GLS Netherlands |
Username | Provided by GLS Netherlands |
Password | Provided by GLS Netherlands |
API Key | Provided by GLS Netherlands |

Once done, click Save to activate the integration
