AKM Global Integration with Helm

Who Are AKM Global?

AKM Global Logistics is a respected courier and freight company offering tailored delivery services across the UK and internationally. Their direct integration enables label generation, tracking, and shipment management straight from Helm

Step 1: Get Your Courier Credentials

Before setup in Helm, ensure you have access to your AKM Global API credentials

You’ll need the following:

  • Username

  • Password

  • Token

Step 2: Install AKM Global in Helm

Follow these steps to add the courier to your system:

🧭 Navigate to Courier Setup

  1. Open the Settings menu in Helm (bottom-left panel)

  2. Use the search bar to find Couriers

  3. Click Couriers in the menu

  4. Press Install Courier (bottom-right corner)

Step 3: Configure AKM Global Settings

  1. In the list, search for and select AKM Global

  2. Click Continue to begin configuration

Fill in the following fields:

Any internal name for this setup (e.g. “AKM Global UK”)

Account Type

Select Live or Test mode

Collection Time

Set expected collection windows for each weekday

Account Number

Provided by AKM Global

Account Name

Your registered company name with AKM

Token

Your secure API token

💡 Optional Notes field can be used for internal details or reference info

Once complete, click Save to finalise the integration

You're Ready to Ship!

Helm is now connected to AKM Global, and your warehouse team can begin using the service for order fulfilment
