ShipHero is a cloud-based warehouse management and fulfilment solution designed for eCommerce brands and 3PLs

Integrating ShipHero with Helm allows seamless syncing of inventory, orders, and shipment tracking between systems to ensure real-time accuracy and fulfilment efficiency

Step-by-Step Setup

To connect ShipHero to Helm:

  1. Log in to ShipHero
    Access your account and navigate to the Developer Settings or API section

  2. Generate API Credentials
    Retrieve your Public API Key and Private API Key from the developer portal

  3. Log in to Helm
    Navigate to Settings → My Store

  4. Add New Sales Channel
    Click Add New Sales Channel and select ShipHero from the list

  5. Enter Required Details

Upload your own logo or the ShipHero logo

API Public Key

Paste your ShipHero public API key

API Secret Key

Paste your ShipHero private API key

  1. Click Continue

Set preferences for inventory sync, stock capping, order importing and fulfilment logic

Final Steps

  • Click Save once all settings are configured

  • Set the channel to Is Active at the top of the screen

Your ShipHero fulfilment integration is now live - and you’re ready to Take the Helm

Common Issues

ISSUE

SOLUTION

Invalid API Key

Ensure both keys are correctly copied from your ShipHero account

Orders Not Syncing

Check if the channel is marked as active and credentials are valid

Stock Not Updating

Verify sync settings and ensure product SKUs are mapped correctly

Tracking Not Importing

Make sure order fulfilment status and tracking are exposed via API
