Who Are Deutsche Post?
Deutsche Post is Germany’s national postal and logistics provider, offering reliable domestic and international delivery services
As part of the DHL Group, they combine extensive infrastructure with eCommerce-focused features, making them ideal for cross-border retail fulfilment

Step 1: Get Your Deutsche Post Credentials
Before installing Deutsche Post in Helm, make sure you have the required credentials
You will need:
Client Id
Client Secret
Account Number
Contact Name
Pickup Type
Pickup Location
Pickup Time Slot
Telephone Number
🔎 These are provided by Deutsche Post during account setup or can be requested via their support portal

Step 2: Install Deutsche Post in Helm
To begin setup:
Open the Settings menu in the bottom-left of Helm
Use the search bar to type “Couriers”
Select the Couriers tab from the results

Step 3: Select and Configure Deutsche Post
Click Install Courier in the bottom-right corner
Search for and select Deutsche Post from the list
Click Continue to begin configuration
Complete the following fields:
Field | What to Enter |
Courier Identifier | Internal name (e.g. “Deutsche Post DE” or “DP International”) |
Account Type | Choose Live for production or Test for sandbox use |
Collection Time | Enter your scheduled collection time as agreed with Deutsche Post |
Client Id | Provided by Deutsche Post |
Client Secret | Provided by Deutsche Post |
Account Number | Provided by Deutsche Post |
Contact Name | Provided by Deutsche Post |
Pickup Type | Provided by Deutsche Post |
Pickup Location | Provided by Deutsche Post |
Pickup Time Slot | Provided by Deutsche Post |
Telephone Number | Provided by Deutsche Post |
