Step 1: Get Your FedEx Credentials
Before installing FedEx in Helm, ensure you have the following credentials
You will need:
User Key
User Password
Account Number
Meter Number
Letter Head Image Id
Letter Head Base64
Signature Image Id
Signature Base64
Client Id
Client Secret
🔎 These are provided when you register for FedEx Web Services or through your FedEx account representative
Contact FedEx support if you need help obtaining your API credentials
Step 2: Install FedEx in Helm
To begin:
Open the Settings menu in the bottom-left corner of Helm
Use the search bar to type “Couriers“
Select the Couriers tab from the list
Step 3: Select and Configure FedEx
Click Install Courier in the bottom-right corner
Search for and select FedEx from the list
Click Continue to proceed
Complete the following fields:
Field | What to Enter |
Courier Identifier | Internal name (e.g. “FedEx Express” or “FedEx Ground”) |
Account Type | Choose Live for production or Test for sandbox environment |
Collection Time | Enter your scheduled pickup time as agreed with FedEx |
User Key | Provided by FedEx |
User Password | Provided by FedEx |
Account Number | Provided by FedEx |
Meter Number | Provided by FedEx |
Letter Head Image Id | Provided by FedEx |
Letter Head Base64 | Provided by FedEx |
Signature Image Id | Provided by FedEx |
Signature Base64 | Provided by FedEx |
Client Id | Provided by FedEx |
Client Secret | Provided by FedEx |

Once done, click Save to activate the integration
