Any Item vs All Items in Rule Filters
When you filter Order Rules or Shipping Rules by order item-level fields (like SKU or Quantity), you can now choose whether the rule matches when any qualifying item is found, or only when all items in the order meet the condition
1. Locate the Match Mode Dropdown
Item-based filter types show a second dropdown between the Type field and the value.
Add or edit a filter using an item-level type, such as Order Item SKU or Order Item Quantity
Click the dropdown next to it - this is where you set the match mode
2. Choose Any Item or All Items
Any Item – the rule matches if at least one item on the order meets the filter condition
All Items – the rule only matches if every item on the order meets the filter condition
For example, filtering Order Item SKU contains "RYDALE" with Any Item matches an order the moment one RYDALE item appears, even alongside other unrelated products. Switching to All Items means the order only matches if every single item is a RYDALE SKU
By separating Any Item from All Items, rule filters now reflect exactly how granular or broad you need your automation to be - whether you're triggering on a single flagged product or requiring uniformity across the whole order.
